Visit Nairobi National Museum Kenya
The historically rich Museum also known as the National Museum of Kenya was initiated in 1910 by a group of enthusiastic naturalists and historically prominent members of the East African Natural History Society who needed a place to keep and preserve their collections of various specimens obtained from the specimens taken from the Kenyan history. Famous for its cradle of mankind due to its rich heritage and numerous archaeological discoveries in Kenya including the famous “Black Skull” discovered by palaeontologists in Turkana in 1985.
A tour of the Museum will help you interpret and appreciate Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one-stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage both for education and leisure. In addition to the Museum, visitors are treated to a variety of shopping and dining facilities, as well as botanical gardens that offer a serene environment.
