DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI-TRANSFER TO THE LODGE

After clearing immigration our representative will receive you from the airport and you will drive through welcoming Kigali city known to be one of the most effective and clean cities in Africa, you then head to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 2: DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK-EVENING GAME DRIVE

After early morning breakfast you will depart Kigali for katuna border where you will clear customs and start your drive to Lake Mburo national park, the park is covered in extensive acacia woodland, Mburo has markedly different fauna to other parks and reserves. Lake Mburo is the best place in Uganda to see the gigantic Eland Antelope, as well as Zebra, topi, impala and many species of birds. The five lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while the swamps hide the papyrus specialists such as the Sitatunga and the papyrus Gonolek on arrival you will check in to your lodge for lunch and relaxation and later you enjoy evening game drive in the park.

DAY 3: MORNING WALKING SAFARI DRIVE TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After morning breakfast you will meet the park ranger and head out for a walking safari in park this walk will give you an opportunity to get close to giraffes, zebras, buffalos and impalas after the walk you will return to the lodge to freshen up and then depart for Kibale national park, the park is a low-lying rainforest home to 13 species of primates the dominant being the chimpanzee others include red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, Black and White Colobus monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, Demi doff Galago, Uganda Red Colobus, Pottos, and the Uganda mangabey, this drive will also take through vast tea farms and on arrival at the lodge you will check in to the lodge for relaxation and Overnight.

DAY 4: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING-TRANSFER QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK-EVENING GAME DRIVE

After early morning breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the park/visitor information center for registration and briefing. Thereafter, the park guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters with chimpanzee and various forest primates like the red Colobus monkeys, black-and white Colobus monkeys, baboons, red cheeked mangabey and other forest species. After the tracking activity, you will return to the lodge for a hot lunch and later drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for game drive in the Kasenyi plains with the possibility of viewing animals such as elephants, Uganda Kob, waterbuck, lions, leopards, buffalos, and many more and later continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING IN KYAMBURA GORGE-BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

After morning breakfast you will embark on a chimp trek in Kyambura Gorge which is a low lying forest situated in the heart of the Rift valley in Queen Elizabeth national park, this magnificent forest sits amidst the savannah underneath the mountains of the moon commonly known as Rwenzori and this exceptional forest is crossed by River Kyambura which acts as a key asset for wildlife during the dry season, after 3-4 hours trekking in the forest you will return to the lodge for lunch and take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, this natural channel connects Lake Edward and gorge making it a key habitat for wildlife, large herds of elephants and buffalos come to drink water every day and the birdlife is exceptional, the cruise takes about 2 hours.

DAY 6: MORNING AND EVENING GAME DRIVES IN KASENYI PLAINS

You will enjoy game viewing in the morning and evening in the open savannah, crater lakes to the vast of Lake Gorge, the park boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world. Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species makes this superb safari territory, with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog, and handsome Uganda Kob, Kasenyi plains offer spectacular game viewing in the park that borders about 11 fishing villages, Lions, elephants, and leopards can be sighted in the vast savannah plains.

DAY 7: GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA-DRIVE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will set off and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is home to more than half the world population of mountain gorillas via Ishasha sector which is on the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park with a possibility of seeing the famous tree-climbing lions, abundant antelope, buffalo and excellent hippo pods off the shore of Ishasha River, after you will continue to Bwindi en route you will see some dramatic landscapes as you will be moving to higher altitudes of over 2000 meters above sea level, upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: GORILLA TREKKING EXPEREINCE-TRANSFER TO KISORO

After morning breakfast with packed lunch and fully dressed in your trekking gear, you will transfer to the park office for a briefing by the rangers, after the briefing you will start your trek on foot, sitting in silence on the cold ground of a Ugandan forest for 60 minutes might be one of life’s greatest privileges. There are fewer than 1000 mountain gorillas in existence, and gorilla trekking provides a rare opportunity to observe the everyday interactions of these gentle, mysterious primates. The special encounter normally just last precious one hour and after you will depart for Kisoro, this border town sits on the base of the famous Virunga volcanoes providing exceptional views.

DAY 9: GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING -TRANSFER VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After morning breakfast, you will depart for Mgahinga gorilla national park which is currently a home to 2000 and 4000 individuals living in the Virunga massif being only found in restricted areas of Virunga’s, they have been classified as endangered. They live in troops of about 100 members lead by an Alpha male, and mostly feed on bamboo shoots, a variety of seasonal fruits, bamboo leaves, lichens, sprouts, flowers, leaves and small invertebrates after you will drive to the border, clear customs and drive to volcanoes national park in Rwanda on arrival you will check in to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 10: GORILLA TREKKING EXPEREINCE –OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park's headquarters in Kinigi to meet your ranger guides for a gorilla briefing thereafter you will embark on the once in a lifetime experience of tracking the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural Habitat.

Depending on the gorilla family you are assigned on that day, there is guarantee how long or difficult your tracking experience will be as it depends on where the family of gorillas is and on weather conditions, It can take anywhere from two up to six hours of trekking through the mountain forest at relatively high altitudes.

On allocating the gorilla family, you'll be allowed an hour of close contact with the gorillas once you've found them. You'll be privileged enough to come within mere meters of a family of these rare and beautiful animals, observing their family interactions in serene silence.

After your trekking is complete, you can choose to return to your lodge to relax or take part in a number of local activities around the park.

DAY 11: TRANSFER KIGALI-CITY TOUR AND TRANSFER AIRPORT

After morning breakfast you will depart volcanoes national park for Kigali city where you will start your city tour with a visit to Kigali genocide museum in Gisozi where you will spend 2-3 hours touring this historical museum, after you will drive to kimironko market where you will visit this vibrant market with colorful fresh vegetables and fruits and later you will break for local lunch, after will drive you to inema art center where you will witness some of East Africa’s most beautiful art pieces and later you will end the day with shopping at capulaki and later you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
