After meet and greet at your location by your guide you will depart the lodge for a short Kigali city, one of the most beautiful and clean cities in Africa, the city offers a lot of life and attractions which gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with its extremely friendly and hospitable inhabitants. Taste the local cuisine and take the time to walk through the beautiful markets, after you will depart for volcanoes national park located North West of Rwanda named after the chain of dormant volcanoes making up the Virunga Massif: Karisimbi – the highest at 4,507m, Bisoke with its verdant Crater Lake, Sabinyo, Gahinga, and Muhavura which supports some of Africa’s top rainforests which is home to the Endangered Mountain gorillas, on arrival you will check in to your lodge and later visit the Allen DeGeneres campus in Kinigi.

After morning breakfast you will depart for Kinigi park headquarters to meet the park rangers who will lead you to the forest to trek the mountain gorillas, volcanoes national park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range – home of the endangered mountain gorilla and a rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath, on arrival at the park headquarters you will have chance to enjoy the fresh coffee from Rwandan highlands as you wait gorilla family allocation, after your assigned a gorilla group you will then meet your lead ranger guide for comprehensive briefing about the family and after you will depart for the trail head where you will start your journey to the mountains, this hike may take anything from 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorilla family is located and you will spend 1 hour viewing the mountain gorillas in silence and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

After morning breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters again for your Golden monkey trekking experience, The golden monkey is restricted to the highland forest, especially near the bamboo Zone, this species was previously thought to be a subspecies of the blue monkey and the two are similar overall, but the golden monkey has a golden-orange patch on the upper flanks and back, this hike will take between 2-4 hours depending on the location of the golden monkeys and travelers will spend 1 hour with them and later return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment and later drive to Kigali for your onward journey.
