Grown in Tanzania’s rich volcanic soil, coffee is the primary source of income for many Tanzanians and a tour around one of the many outstanding plantations is well worth the trip. The Meru people of Nguruma have been growing coffee for over a decade and Vijiji has showcased their coffee activity and is one of the best experiences in Arusha during this tour you will learn what it takes to make a great cup of coffee: From Bean to Cup, hoe to dig, weed, and harvest organic coffee in a real farming environment during the coffee-making experience. You will participate and learn about the entire process, from seedlings to drinking.
