Travelers on this Trip will visit Kilimanjaro National Park is home to the continent’s highest mountain, snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Around the base of its tallest peak, relatively accessible hiking trails wind through a rainforest inhabited by colobus monkeys, tree hyrax and colourful birds and past the volcanic caldera of Lake Chala. Approaching the summit of Uhuru Peak, the slopes steepen and are studded with glacial ice fields, though the park is only 1,688 sq. km (652 sq. mi) it encompasses one of the largest mountains in the world.

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM YOUR HOTEL IN ARUSHA AND TRANSFER TO KILIMANJARO NATIONAL PARK

After your morning breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, you will be met by your Trip leader and enjoy a short city tour of Arusha and enjoy one of the most delicious Tanzanian ugali with Nyama choma and then transfer to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro for overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY FOREST WALK IN KILIMANJARO NATIONAL PARK

After your breakfast you will drive to park to meet the park rangers for your beautiful forest walk during this walk you will visit Marangu waterfalls are situated in the Kilimanjaro National Park, to the foothills of the Kilimanjaro. The source of the water comes directly from the glacier on top of Kilimanjaro. Splendid, green areas where also grow the most fantastic trees and exotic plants. You will also have beautiful view on Mt. Kilimanjaro, located in the beautiful country side of Marangu surrounded by lush landscapes.
