Day hike to Marangu or Ndoro Waterfall in Kilimanjaro

Marangu day hike is a popular hiking experience in Tanzania, located at the foothills of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro Africa’s highest mountain peak towering at 5895 meters above sea level. The hike takes visitors through lush rainforests, with scenic views of waterfalls and also provides chances to see wildlife along the trail.

The hike typically starts at the Marangu Gate, which is the starting point for many Mount Kilimanjaro treks. From there, visitors will walk through the rainforest, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, birds, and insects. Along the way, hikers can also see the Maundi Crater, a scenic lookout point with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
