Detailed itinerary

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO LAKE MANYARA

On your day one of the safaris, you will be picked from your hotel in Arusha by your driver guide after early morning breakfast, then head out on a 2–3-hour drive to Lake Manyara national park. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch, you will go canoeing on the lake where you will view wildlife and a lot of birds, including the famous flamingos. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 2: MORNING AND EVENING GAME DRIVES

On your second day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning, have morning breakfast and head out to the park for morning game viewing, During this time, you will embark on numerous game drives in different parts of the park and will be able to view animals such as; tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, buffalo, wildebeest, waterbuck, warthog, hyena, baboon, giraffe, and many birds such as pink shaded flamingoes, Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schalow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground-dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more most especially around the Lake Manyara. At an appropriate time, you will break off for lunch and after lunch you will again embark on more game drives, traversing different areas of the park in anticipation of viewing the cats and elephants. Thereafter return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3: EARLY MORNING GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO CRATER AND TRANSFER BACK TO ARUSHA

On your last day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, checkout of your lodge, and head out to the Ngorongoro conservation area for another morning short game drive. This is usually a perfect drive so as to catch up with the nocturnal such as Leopards, lions, and hyaenas getting the final bits of unfinished night business. Thereafter, proceed to Arusha either to catch your departure flight back or return to your hotel for further business.
