How to get to Tarangire National Park

Arusha town is a starting point for many for most of the safaris to this circuit, visiting this park in the dry season will offer you remarkable wildlife views especially if you explore the southern part of the park. Tarangire ranks as part of the famous northern safari circuit and is visited alongside Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. 

By Road

Tarangire National Park is approximately 140 km from Arusha and takes about three hours to access the park. 

By air

You can also use charter flights from Arusha to Kuro Airstrip is the primary entry point for visitors exploring Tarangire National Park. Located in the northern part of the park, it provides convenient access to some of the park’s most iconic wildlife areas.
