Excellent time.
The excellent time for gorilla trekking are the months which are dry and also give you perfect conditions for Trekking in the dense rain forest, December-February to and from June to September is considered to be the best time to visit Bwindi for gorilla trekking as it is dry season where the country receives low or no rainfall.
Good time.
May –June is end of rainy season in Bwindi and it always doubles as the green season though gorilla trekking is difficult due to slippery trails wildlife viewing tents to be very good as there is a lot of green grass and plenty of water for the wildlife and it’s our second best time to travel to Uganda.
Poor time.
April and November in Bwindi are the months which receive the highest amount of rainfall and these are the same months where a lot flooding is experienced making travelling around the country difficult and also gorilla trekking is very difficult and the trails are very slippery however it’s the same month where prices of services are discounted and other properties close down for renovation.
