The lake provides excellent opportunities to see the African sunset and also is a great Habitat for the rear shoebill stork, the Mabamba wetlands west of Entebbe is great place for bird watching along side the botanical gardens.

Climate
Entebbe lies close to the Equator and you can visit any time of the year usually, it’s dry from June to October and from December to February but being close to the lake the area receives rainfall anytime. the temperatures are cooler all year round.

The best way to get around Entebbe is by hiring a cub, the city is quite small and you can get anywhere in Entebbe within 20-25 minutes, the city is also very safe for walking, travelers can stroll around Entebbe at anytime during the day.
