Our 3 Days Lake Mburo national park will take you to Uganda’s smallest national park home to some of the most spectacular wildlife, horse riding, walking safari , boat cruise and fantastic birding destination.

Lake Mburo.

Lying in one part of Uganda covered in extensive acacia woodland, Mburo has markedly different fauna to other parks and reserves. Lake Mburo is the best place in Uganda to see the gigantic Eland Antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, impala, leopard, and many species of birds. The five lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while the swamps hide the papyrus specialists such as the Sitatunga and the papyrus Gonolek.

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala or Entebbe and transfer to Lake Mburo national park-Evening game drive.

Day 2: Early morning walking safari and game drive, afternoon boat and Evening game drive.

Day 3: Morning game drive and drive back to Entebbe.

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala or Entebbe and transfer to Lake Mburo national park-Evening game drive.

After morning game drive you will be depart for Lake Mburo national park home to one of the most spectacular wildlife like Eland Antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, impala, leopard, the trip will take you through the Equator line where you will stop for pictures and later proceed to the park arriving in time for late lunch and relaxation, later you will head in to the park for evening game drive to see the abundant wildlife that congregate around waterholes.

Day 2: Early morning walking safari and game drive, afternoon boat and Evening game drive.

After morning breakfast you will meet the park rangers and head in to the park for a walking safari, Lake Mburo hosts 68 mammal species and 350 bird species in high concentration. With a growing giraffe family and a healthy hippo population the park offers spectacular wildlife viewing, after the 2 hour walk you will continue game driving in your jeep and later return to the lodge for quick Lunch and after you will head out for boat ride so you don’t miss the crocodiles, and the prime bird viewing from the water and later enjoy a short game drive enroute to the Lodge.

Day 3: Morning game drive and drive back to Entebbe.

After morning breakfast depending on your flight schedule you may enjoy a morning game drive in the park and later transfer to back to Kampala or Entebbe for your onward journey or you’re Lodge.

Detailed itinerary

DAY 1: FULL DAY NAIROBI CITY TOUR

After an early morning breakfast at your lodge our guide will meet you for a short briefing about the day and after you will depart in your vehicle and head to the Nairobi national museum which showcase Kenya’s rich heritage after you will drive to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage where you will learn more about the rescued elephants and the interesting work to protect them and release them to the wild after you will head to the giraffe manor where you will enjoy feeding the giraffes and learning about the conservation then after you will head to a local restaurant to try a typical Kenyan cuisine and later end the day at the famous Karen Blixen Museum and after here your guide will transfer you back to your lodge.
