Boat cruise on Kazinga channel Queen Elizabeth-Kazinga channel is a 32-kilometer (20-mile) long natural channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, a part of the African Great Lakes system, located within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Being the easiest access to fresh water for wildlife Kazinga channel is a popular destination for boat cruises, allowing visitors to view diverse wildlife and various bird species.
There are 4 scheduled departures daily from 9 am, 11 am and 2pm and 4 pm respectively or private charters maybe booked, these departures may start from Mweya peninsular to Lake Edward or from the Katunguru landing site to Mweya peninsular where visitors will enjoy a 2 hour game viewing on the boat.

African yellow billed stork, open billed stork and African skimmers are seen on the cruise too.
