Passport

A passport with a validity of up to 6 months after you enter the country is required with at least 2 blank pages for travellers travelling to Uganda.

Tourist Visa

The climate in Uganda allows stable, year-round malaria transmission with relatively little seasonal variability in most areas. Malaria is highly endemic and travellers planning a travel to Uganda must ensure that they pack anti-malarial drugs and as well as bring insect repellent to use during the night.

Getting to Uganda

Uganda’s International borders are open and the best way to travel to Uganda is by air through Entebbe International Airport, Uganda’s national carrier Uganda Airlines operates flights from different destinations into Entebbe, for travellers to Uganda the easiest connections would be via Europe, united Arab emirates which have direct flights to Uganda.

Dress code

Ugandans are very relaxed and most types of clothing are acceptable. We suggest you pack for comfort rather than fashion. In Kampala and most of the bigger cities Western clothes such as jeans and t-shirts are fine. Outside of major cities, we suggest that you dress more conservatively.
