Trip overview
Our Travelers on this safari will visit Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomizes Africa for many, and then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation needs to go no further.
The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains.

Detailed itinerary
Your driver guide will then take you to Nairobi’s domestic airport for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara, which is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. On arrival at the Masai Mara, you will be met by your Trip leader at the airstrip and transferred to your luxury lodge. For a check in and Lunch. Later in the afternoon you will head out for a very interactive game drive where you will expect to encounter large numbers of animals year-round, with big herds of elephant, buffalo and other plains game. It is also common to see predator interaction. The Great Wildebeest Migration passes through the Mara for approximately three months each year. Game drives may last from a couple of hours to the whole day, with a picnic breakfast and lunch. If you are lucky enough to experience nature’s greatest spectacle, the Wildebeest Migration, it is a sight to behold. From July to November each year over two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle embark on a cyclical movement through the Mara, driven by rainfall and the subsequent availability of grazing.
