You will visit Northern Serengeti where one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth takes place, wildebeest migration which seems to neither start nor finish in their endless search for food and water, as they migrate across the Serengeti- Masai Mara ecosystem in a relentless sequence of life and death which occurs annually.

You will visit Ngorongoro Crater which is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa.  Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year.

You will trek the endangered Mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable national park, Trekking the endangered mountain gorillas remains one of the undisputed highlights of any visit to Rwanda, meeting these incredible primates deep in the rainforest can only be described as an emotionally overwhelming experience.

You will trek the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park and Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO ARUSHA

On arrival in Kilimanjaro international Airport, you will be received by our guide and transferred to Arusha which is the gateway to Tanzania’s northern circuit. Perched under Mount Meru and surrounded by coffee plantations and flower farms, Arusha is the starting point for many Tanzania safaris to the Northern circuit, and the base town for Kilimanjaro climbs.

DAY 2: FLIGHT FROM ARUSHA TO NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Kogatende area of the Northern Serengeti, this part of Serengeti is covered in large acacia trees which support large amounts of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and the carnivores that prey on them. It's a fascinating opportunity to see a large number of Africa's most iconic animals in a relatively small amount of time. Enjoy a bird's eye view of Tanzania as you make the short trip, where you'll be met by your endless plains Africa tour leader upon arrival.

You'll spend your day driving through this distinct and beautiful region of the park in search of the Wildebeest Migration and the Big Five.

DAY 3: FULL DAY NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will start your game drive around the Kogatende area, searching around the kopjes looking for carnivores and the large migration groups that will be preparing to cross the Mara River into Kenya.

Home to large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Masai Mara. If you're patient and a little lucky, you may even get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeest and zebras brave the river's currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety on the opposite bank.

DAY 4: DRIVE FROM NORTHERN SERENGETI TO CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

We'll start our day immediately after breakfast, driving through the plains of Togoro and the Mbuzi Mawe kopjes on our way to cross the Banagi River into the Seronera region of the Central Serengeti. Along the way, you'll spot everything from the enigmatic dik-diks to towering elephants, and everything in between, The Seronera is often known as 'big cat country', and its kopjes and acacias provide an excellent opportunity to spot pride of lazy lions, sleek cheetahs out on the hunt, and leopards overseeing everything from their lofty perches.

The region's hippo pools and wide-open spaces provide ample opportunities for game viewing.

DAY 5: DRIVE FROM CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro Crater National Park.

Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you on your drive. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators.

You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion as you proceed to Ngorongoro conservation Area.

DAY 6: FULL DAY NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, you'll descent to the Ngorongoro Crater; considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation.

Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought-after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa's premier safari destinations.

DAY 7: DRIVE FROM NGORONGORO TO KILIMANJARO AIRPORT AND CONNECT FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE

Depart from the Ngorongoro Crater, you will pass through the lush forests and rolling hills of the area, providing ample opportunities to spot a wide array of wildlife along the way. The journey then continues towards the town of Arusha, a bustling metropolis that serves as a gateway to Tanzania’s many national parks and conservation areas.

From Arusha, travelers will make your way towards Kilimanjaro Airport, passing through the picturesque countryside and rural villages that dot the landscape. The proximity to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, provides a stunning backdrop for the journey and offers travelers the chance to catch a glimpse of this majestic mountain as they make their way to the airport and there after you will connect your flight to Entebbe in Uganda, on arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be transferred to your lodge for overnight.

DAY 8: MORNING DRIVE FROM ENTEBBE TO KIBALE FOREST AND EVENING PRIMATE WALK

After morning breakfast, you will depart historical Entebbe town is the main entry point to Uganda via Entebbe International Airport. Entebbe town the peninsular on Lake Victoria Africa’s largest fresh water body, Kibale forest located south western Uganda is a home to chimpanzees and other primates, also known as the, “Primate capital of the world” with 13 different primate species including chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, Black and White Colobus monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, Demi doff Galago, Uganda Red Colobus, Pottos, and the Uganda mangabey on arrival at the lodge you will check in and later in the evening you will visit the Bigodi wetland famous for primates and birds.

DAY 9: MORNING CHIMPANZEE TREKKING EXPERIENCE IN KIBALE FOREST AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the park/visitor information center for registration and briefing. Thereafter, the park guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters of various forest primates such the L’Hoest’s, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons and other forest species. Return to lodge for lunch and there after proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park which is consisting of open savannah to rainforest, from dense papyrus swamps and brooding crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward, it is little wonder that QENP boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world. Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species makes this superb safari territory, with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog, and handsome Uganda kob on arrival you will check in to your lodge and head out for evening game drive where you will look out for predators that are out hunting in the evening hours.

DAY 10: MORNING KYAMBURA CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After morning breakfast, you will drive to Kyambura Gorge which is a low-lying forest situated in the heart of the Rift valley in Queen Elizabeth national park, this magnificent forest sits amidst the savannah underneath the mountains of the moon commonly known as Rwenzori, and this exceptional forest is crossed by River Chambura which acts as a key asset for wildlife during the dry season.

The 16 km long and 100 meters wide gorge is not only famous for chimp trekking but it’s home to big game like hippos, elephants, lions, leopards, waterbucks, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus, and abundant birdlife upon locating the chimpanzees you will spend 1 hour with them and later drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

DAY 11: FULL DAY GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Have an Early breakfast and transfer to the park offices/visitor information center by 7:30am for briefing and allocation of gorilla group to be trekked. Hike through the rainforest accompanied by a ranger guide and trackers, in search of the mountain gorilla family allocated for trekking. The walking can be challenging at times, but when you catch a glimpse of the humongous silverback with his family, any discomforts will quickly be forgotten. The lead guide keeps providing information about trees, birds, butterflies and other wildlife in the forest until you reach the gorilla family allocated for tracking. The gorillas are located in different parts across the forest and therefore, the time taken to find one group varies from a few minutes to several hours depending on location and movement of the Gorillas. Once with the gorillas, you will be allowed to observe them for an hour. At the end of the trek, you will return to the park headquarters and information Centre to be awarded your trekking certificates. You will then meet the driver guide and transfer back to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO KIGALI FOR YOUR DEPARTURE.

you will transfer to Kigali city for a city tour, on this tour you will visit the Kigali genocide museum after you will enjoy lunch at the famous Hotel Rwanda and later return to the lodge for relaxation and depending on your flight departure time you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
