Entebbe is the only entry point into Uganda for trade and other international relations because its home to the country’s only international airport. Entebbe covers a total area of 56.2 square kilometers (21.7 square miles) in size, with 20 square kilometers (7.7 square miles) of that being water.
Entebbe is a peninsula on Lake Victoria, 37 kilometers southeast of Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. It’s a residential center for government employees and has no industry.
Entebbe is often a starting or ending point for safaris to Uganda. Some activities to do in Entebbe include visiting Mabamba Swamps, birding, taking a city tour, and visiting the education wildlife center.
Entebbe can be accessed by air via Entebbe international airport recommended airlines include Ethiopian airlines, KLM Royal Dutch airlines, Brussels airlines, Qatar airlines, Emirates airlines and Turkish airlines, by water through Lake Victoria from Kenya or Tanzania or by road from Kampala as there are not many road options from anywhere.
