On the shores of gorgeous Lake Victoria Entebbe is a historical town and the main entry point to Uganda via Entebbe International Airport. Entebbe is a peninsular located on Africa’s largest tropical freshwater body, Lake Victoria, the 68800 sq kilometres lake is shared between Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania but Entebbe is the most accessible part of Lake from any major city in East Africa.

Climate
Entebbe lies close to the Equator and you can visit any time of the year usually, it’s dry from June to October and from December to February but being close to the lake the area receives rainfall anytime.

The best way to get around Entebbe is by hiring a cub, the city is quite small and you can get anywhere in Entebbe within 20-25 minutes.
