When is the best time to Visit Ziwa Rhino and wildlife sanctuary?
The weather conditions are pretty pleasant all year round at the sanctuary, but the location of the sanctuary on water logged area makes it difficult to access most of the areas near the Lugogo swamp by vehicle and foot, so the most recommended time to visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is during the countries 2 dry seasons from June to September and from December to February when there is less rainfall and most of the wildlife tent to congregate on water holes making it easy to spot them.

It is important to note that White Rhinos are highly sensitive to heat, they will tent to hide in thickets and swamps when the temperatures are high, so the best time to see the Rhinos is early morning between 7:30 and 9:30 and from 5 pm onwards.
