Somalia Safaris, Tours & Holidays
Somalia, officially the Federal Republic of Somalia is a sovereign country in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Ethiopia to the west, Djibouti to the northwest, the Gulf of Aden to the north, the Indian Ocean to the east, and Kenya to the southwest. Somalia has the longest coastline on Africa’s mainland.
Everybody knows about Somalia, but not many know about Somaliland, a territory within Somali boundaries that declared self-independence in 1991 but, since nobody in the international community recognized it as such, it became one of those self-administered ghost countries.
Legally, it belongs to Somalia but, from a tourism point of view, travelling to Somalia is like visiting a new country, a very intriguing and weird one.
With camel markets, medieval mosques, and ancient rock art painted by some of the oldest pastoralist societies, Somaliland is a truly off-the-beaten-path – and very safe – destination that you can’t miss on your trip to the Horn of Africa.

Top Equatorial Guinea safari destinations
The animal population of Guinea is fortunate, since they inhabit a country where nature continues being as spectacular as it is virgin, but also where development permits taking the appropriate measures for their preservation in the future.
More than a hundred different mammals make up this fauna: small antelopes, pangolins, felines… The country is especially rich in diversity of primates: gorillas, chimpanzees, mandrills, colobus… But in Guinea, you can also find some samples of large mammals such as elephants of the jungle, hippopotamus, bush pig, and the manatee.
Also numerous are the species of reptiles and amphibians, and four species of sea turtles that frequent the coast stand out.
Rwanda holiday packages
Rwanda is accessible all year round but the dry season between June and September is renowned for being the best time to go to Rwanda. There is often light cloud cover during this time of year and it makes for a comfortable climate for gorilla trekking experience.
Get inspired
Doing things for the first time in Rwanda is exciting and fun, but it can also be a bit scary especially when it comes to safaris – a situation that puts you in a new country surrounded by wild animals! That said, once you know you’re in good hands, the anxiety dissipates and you’re left with the freedom to make the most of your adventure.
